Riverdale, one of the best drama series from American Mystery Crime, is coming soon to Netflix with its fifth season. Developed by Roberto Aguirre Saikasa, it is adapted from the Archie Comics characters.

The series first premiered on January 26, 2017, on The CW Network. It is one of the most-watched series, with an average audience of thirty million. The first season was well-received by many viewers and received seven out of ten ratings.

The series revolves around the whereabouts of the city of Riverdale, where murders are taking place by an anonymous faction. One incident leads to another, in which the four teenagers, Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead investigate the events and discover haunting truths about the city.

Due to the closure of production, the filming schedule has changed significantly. Filming for Riverdale season 5 will generally begin in July 2024, but depending on the virus and if it is safe to resume production, filming may be delayed. The good news is, as of April 7, 2024, writing has started on Season 5.
