Amazon Studios has officially ordered a television series based on the famous novel of Eisner, Paper Girls. The comic series has won several Eisner Awards. In the year 2016, Wilson and Vaughn won for Best Colorman and Best Writer respectively due to their work on the series. Stephanie Folsom will serve as a co-listener with Christopher Kentwell and Christopher Rogers. The trio will serve as executive producers alongside Won and Chiang.

The release date of the series Paper Girls has not been officially announced. The fans can expect the series to air in early 2024 or early 2024. Due to the current global coronavirus epidemic, the production of the movie has been halted.
The expected plot of Paper Girls!
Erin Tiang, a new resident of Stony Stream, is a newly recruited paper dealer. While distributing the newspaper in the early morning hours of November 1, 1988. The girls are soon attacked by a group of teenagers. A teenager steals a walkie-talkie from Tiffany. The girls then follow the group to a house under construction and appear to be a time machine in the basement.
They are then killed by the mysterious energy emanating from the machine. The girls discover that the teenagers are travelers from the distant future, participating in an ongoing war with a group known as “Old-Timers”. Throughout the series, girls often travel through time. As they travel through time, they face future versions of themselves and are forced to accept what will be later.
