Many of our favorite TV shows have come to an abrupt halt as television projects cease because of the latest pandemic of coronavirus. The films are also affected, and several releases have been released later in the year or next year.
Yet it is here that streaming services are saved. Netflix, Quibi, and other outlets have shot earlier and released in April. Among them is ‘Outer Banks,’ a tale that is going to be released on Netflix for young adults.
The twins of Pate, Josh, and Jonas, have worked behind the scenes of the small screen over the past two decades to create TV shows that have struggled to catch the imagination of the audience enough to become heavy hitters. Aquarius, Believe, Blood & Oil, Surface, and même Caprica were all perfectly good, but among the standout shows of the 00s and 10s, they are still not spoken about. Now the twins are taking a new teen treasure-hunting drama show to Netflix, along with Syriana consultant Shannon Burke.
The first season of ‘Outer Banks’ will be releasing on Netflix on April 15.
The cast of Outer Bans includes:
- Madison Bailey as Kiara
- Madelyn Cline as Sarah Cameron
- Jonathan Daviss as Pope
- Charles Esten as Ward Cameron
- Alexis Desiree Jones as Kook Patron
- Rob Mars as Deputy Thomas
‘Outer Banks’ is a new story, following a close-knit group of local teens (the “Pogues”) on the North Carolina Outer Banks beach holiday destination. When a hurricane destroys power in the summer, a chain of illegal events sets out, which forces friends to decide to change a life.
The quest for the lost father of their chief, forbidden romances, a treasure-hunt for high stakes, and the escalating rivalry between the Pogues and their rivals make the summer into an unforgettable one.
John B is the dynamic Pogue crew chief. His dad failed when he tried to save a sunken boat, and he won’t hesitate to share the details of his disappearance. John B persuades his friends to join him in an epic search for his father, and lead them through an unforgettable summer adventure.
