Netflix is making a Cyberpunk 2077 anime series, titled Cyberpunk: AdGeners. CD Projekt Red has been working on its Cyberpunk 2077 video game, an adaptation of the Cyberpunk franchise since 2012. It will finally launch in November 2024, but it won’t be the end of the series journey.
More Updates!
Cyberpunk 2077 will serve as a launchpad for a new franchise for the Polish studio, which coincided with The Witcher Trilogy, which was based on a series of novels. Dark Horse Cyberpunk 2077: Trauma Team, a comic book series set in the gaming world, will be released in September 2024.
Additionally, the latest version of the original cyberpunk game, Cyberpunk Red, will appear before the game’s release and will not only serve as a sequel to Cyberpunk 2024 but will also establish itself as a prequel to Cyberpunk 2077 in 2045.
Release date
In Cyberpunk: Edgarners announces videos and press releases, CD Projekt Red, Studio Trigger, and Netflix confirmed that the anime series will launch in 2024. No specific date or deadline was provided, but it was good that fans expected a TV show at least when it was common. Studio Trigger is in a hurry to see what they do, so since Cyberpunk: Edgarners was announced in mid-2020, it’s for this reason that the series will be released later in 2024.
Plotline
Edgarunners will be a limited series of 10 episodes set in the same universe as Cyberpunk 2077. However, it will not be a video game adaptation or entertainment. Instead, it will be an independent story taking place in the context of the game’s Night City, but with a completely different approach. Not only will the beauty and setting be generally new, but there will also be new characters. It has been seen as a gateway to the Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk style. No specific date or deadline was provided, but it’s good for fans to at least know when to typically expect a television show.
