On a hotel resort on the Costa del Sol, three members of the same family have died on Christmas Eve.
Sources reported on Tuesday evening suggested the dead body as British.
“Management at Club La Costa World resort would like to extend its heartfelt condolences to the family moved by the loss of three family members on 24 December 2019,” the resort’s managers said on Tuesday.
“The customers were discovered unresponsive in one of the resort’s pools. First response teams and emergency services visited and gave first aid.”
“The management are supporting the police fully with their investigation into the deaths. We want to thank our first response team and the emergency services for their immediate and proper responses and our staff for the continuing care of the family at this difficult time.”
According to sources, the nine-year-old daughter got into problems in the pool, and her father and brother both jumped into the pool to help her. The children’s mother reportedly put the alarm.
The hotel is on the Spanish coast, approximately two miles to the south of Fuengirola, and approximately 20 miles from Málaga. The destination is popular with British holidaymakers. The dead were a father, son, and daughter.
The investigators are investigating the case and the case of the incident that led to the death of the 52-year-old father and his 16-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter.
