Man Quickly Married After the Death Of Her Wife and Linked With The Missing Of Two Child

Officials in two Idaho jurisdictions investigating the strange death of a woman in October are now searching for two missing children, their mother, and the dead woman’s husband, who married the children’s mom quickly after his wife’s death, sources reports.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is supporting in the search for Joshua Vallow, 7, and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan, who hasn’t been seen since late September. The children’s mother, Lori Vallow, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, have ceased cooperating with law enforcement and abruptly walked out of their house in late November.

Daybell’s then-wife, Tammy Daybell, was discovered dead in the couple’s house on October 19. The primary cause of death was recorded as natural causes, but detectives with the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office later concluded her death was questionable. Her body was disinterred on December 11 for a post-mortem.

Meanwhile, the Rexburg Police Department shared and posted pictures of the children, Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell asking help in locating them. Rexburg Police Chief Shane Turman stated that the two had not been charged with a crime.

“They have told us many stories about where the kids are, but when we investigate, the children do not exist where they say they should,” he said. “We do not know where the children are at, but we believe they are in pretty serious condition.”

Rexburg police stated that relatives from outside Idaho had asked a welfare check for Joshua, who was adopted by Vallow, special needs son, sources reported. During the November 26 visit, Vallow and Daybell told the detectives that Joshua was with a family relative in Arizona, which turned out to be wrong. The following day, detectives published search warrants at locations connected with Vallow and discovered that the couple had left their house and town abruptly. During the investigation, police had also discovered about the teen girl, who had also not been seen since September.

While Rexburg police focus on searching for the children and the two adults, Fremont sheriff’s deputies are investigating into Tammy Daybell’s death. 49-year-old Tammy Daybell was an elementary school librarian. As the investigators wait for the results of the post-mortem, Fremont County Sheriff Len Humphries stated that the couple was viewed persons of interest.

“We are working very hard to find more details and to follow up on everything that we can,” Humphries said.
