Log Horizon Season 3: Official Release Date? Cast? And Other Updates

Log Horizon is written by Mamare Touno and illustrated by Kazuhiro Hara. It is a Japanese based novel series. The story revolves around a strategist, Shiro, and other long-lived Elder Tale MMORPG players as they transform into a virtual gaming world. It made its first appearance on October 5, 2013, and March 22, 2014. After worldwide success, the second season came out on October 4, 2014, and was completed on March 28, 2015.

We can expect to see the return of the cast from the previous season. Daiki Yamashita as Toyou, Nao Tumara as Minori, Yumi Hara as Mariella, Yami Hara as Mirala, Mike Yager as Shiore, Jovan Jackson as Nyanta, Tomoaki Maeno as Nautsugo, and  Memiri Kato as Akatsuki will return in the third season.


The third season will be based on the twelfth part of the novel series. It will continue from where it left off in the second season. In the final episode of Season 2, we saw an uphill battle between Shiro and Table, with Shiro’s massive attack leading to victory. It is also allowing you to establish a portal between the two worlds.
The most dangerous villains will take a risk and Shiro will face a deadlier obstacle in the future.

Will there be Log Horizon Season 3?

The creators were tight and did not announce the launch of the third season. Initially, it was scheduled to launch around October 2024, but due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the launch date changed. It launched in January 2024.

Now that the third season launch has been confirmed, we have received an update on its title. It’s expected name will be “Log Horizon: Destruction of the Round Table”. And it will consist of 12 episodes.
