The first season follows Sid Burnett (Union), who was last seen running a drug cartel in Miami and gave up his troubled past to become an LAPD detective. Taking on the most dangerous criminals in Los Angeles, breaking the rules, and taking on speed limits, Sid and Nancy become a force that resonates on the streets and in the lives of others.

Season 2 was spent tracking down Jane’s killer and trying to figure out the masterminds behind the massively severe wave at Koortown, while both Nancy and Sid battled their individual plays on the sidelines. Nancy’s marriage to Patrick (Ryan McPartlin) collapses and burns, and she is shot as soon as the two are about to work on her. Initially, her stepdaughter Izzy was about to leave for Chicago with her aunt, but she decided to stay in Nancy’s place.

About Sid, he struggles to cope with Jane’s death as he searches for her killer and almost does something for which he doesn’t blame his career. Much drama and suspense are planned for season 3 and it remains to be seen who will be Nancy’s new love and if Sid will resume her relationship with her boss, Jason Calloway, as they both take a step forward. She decided to withdraw season 2.
