The zombie K-drama was a smash hit, and expectations were high from the second season. Here is all you need to know about the next season this month!
Kingdom stars in their principal roles are Ju Ji Hoon, Ryu Seung Ryong, Bae Doona, and Kim Sung Kyu. The Kingdom is the first Korean original series of Netflix and debuted in the first season on 25 January 2019. It is a webtoon from Kim Eun Hee’s “The Kingdom of Gods” and created by Yang Kyung Il.
The supernatural K-drama political time is directed by Kim Seong Hun and by Kim Eun Hee, who was the author of the webtoon from which this drama is based.
The story goes back to the Joseon era in Korea, in which Crown Prince Lee Chang is involved in a coup and is forced to leave the capital. His father is sick, and although he feels the whole Kingdom is dead, his physician provides him with hidden treatment. Lee Chang discovers that the doctor produces a mysterious plague that leads dead to flesh-eating zombies.
Netflix announced its arrival on the streaming platform in Kingdom Season 2 on Friday, 13 March 2023. Netflix made the announcement last month on its different social media handles.

The great turning point at the end of Season 1 showed the vulnerability of the zombie in warm air and not in light. As we can assume that winter has arrived, cold air will encourage zombies to remain active during the day.
We theorize that the zombies will not remain active 24 hours a day for now. This is because the temperature will continue to rise throughout the day, and we believe that the time between when people are healthy will be shorter and shorter as the cold winter air sets. It implies, of course, that people have to fight harder and have less time to prepare themselves for a zombie attack.
In Sangju city, we can expect the Crown Prince and the town’s protection to maintain their horde for now. The same may not occur at the Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk borders. Many thousands of terrified peasants and nobles flock to the walls only to be turned away or killed by the five armies. Anyone unable to flee or hide is eventually consumed, turned around by the army of the dead.
