Simply swap out the high-carb chocolate with sugar-free chocolate that has been shown to work in ketosis, add some strawberries, and a drizzle of coconut oil to smooth out the chocolate (and boost the fat content). You can prepare this delicious dessert for less than ten dollars!

To make the best keto strawberries with chocolate, follow these steps:

    • Before dipping the strawberries in the sugar-free chocolate, make sure they are fully dry. If they’re moist, the chocolate won’t cling to them, and you’ll end up with a sticky mess.
    • For a sweeter flavor, use a bag of the ripest strawberries you can locate. Strawberries with light-colored stems are less delicious and should be avoided.
    • I like to dip strawberries in semi-sweet and white chocolate, but dark chocolate is also a good option. As long as the chocolate chip or bar is sugar-free, it will suffice.
    • Before dipping the strawberries into the chocolate, they should be at room temperature.
    • Chopped almonds, chocolate glaze, or unsweetened coconut may be used to complete the chocolate-covered strawberries.

3

To melt the chocolate without adding sugar, follow these steps: Stove: Make a water bath by putting a pan on the stove with a cup of water in it. Bring the water to a boil in a large pot. Place a heat-resistant glass bowl over the pan after the water is boiling. In a glass dish, place the chocolate chips and stir gently until they are completely melted. Remove from the heat and whisk in the coconut oil.

Microwave: In a microwave-safe dish, melt the chocolate. Microwave on high for 15 seconds at a time. Between each break, stir with a spatula. Combine the coconut oil with the rest of the ingredients and stir well.

4

To create a heart-shaped strawberry, follow these steps:

Remove the stems from the strawberries and cut them into a V shape using a knife. This results in a heart-shaped form. To dip the strawberries in the melted chocolate, place a candy wrapper or a wooden stick in the bottom of the strawberries. Place them on baking paper to harden after soaking.

5

To create strawberries with a strawberry stem, follow these instructions:

Remove the stems from the strawberries and immerse 3/4 of them into the molten chocolate, covering the whole fruit. Remove the strawberries from the chocolate and set them aside to solidify on baking paper.

6

Once the strawberries have firm, keep them in the refrigerator in an airtight container until ready to consume.
