Idaho Teen Boy, 15, Who Vanished From Rexburg Is Finally Found Safe

A teenager returned from Idaho almost a month ago to his home in June

Colton McMinn,15, reportedly lost his home in Rexburg on May 14. He reportedly said he would keep his photo with him and never forget it.

Rexburg police indicated that they were considering McMinn as a fugitive, and described him as “out of reach”. Shortly after he vanished, the police said they believed a person brought him close to his home on May 14th. As per the reports, the teenager did not carry a purse or his mobile phone.

The investigation continued for several days

On June 8, Rexburg’s assistant chief of police, Gary Hagen, told that the police were incessantly searching for the teenager and that Colton’s friends and close knowns had led the police to believe he was in the Idaho Falls area.

Two days later, according to reports MacMaine’s wife, Britney MacMaine, who had explicitly asked for public help in search of her stepson in the lost weeks, posted a Facebook post that he is safe and returning home.

“he is fine and is returning home !! We cannot express enough our gratitude for all the love and support we received from everyone while looking for our son.” Our prayers have been answered, “Britney McMain wrote in a Facebook post.

It is still unidentified where Colton McMinn was during the weeks lost from home

Rexburg has been in national titles for the past few months, with two children living in Rexburg with their mother, Laurie Fallow, since September in a widely read case. On June 9, 16-year-old Tell Ryan and her 7-year-old brother JJ Fallow were found dead in the father-in-law’s backyard outside Rexburg.

Vallow and her husband Chad Daibel are detained in separate counties in Idaho and face multiple criminal charges related to the disappearance of children, although neither is accused of murder.
