Director Peyton Reed Opened Up On The Deleted Lottery Scene From The Ant Man Movie

Marvel Cinematic Universe ( MCU) Ant-Man franchise had mainly focused on family and quantum realm it had not mainly to do with saving the world or doing something big like the other Marvel movies.

Director Peyton Reed who served as the director shared some inside details while shooting the film. He said that there were constant changes being made in the draft till the final shooting as a result of which many scenes had to be deleted.

One such scene which came to our knowledge is a lottery scene shared by the director on his social media handle. It is showing the lead actor Scott Lang buying a lottery ticket. Giving an explanation to it, Reed told that they finished off with the shooting of the scene and finally the film but found that it is not making any sense to get fit into.

The film had a major focus on how the actor tries to be united with his family and going into the depths of the quantum realm. Hence, the scene had no point to get a place in the film.

Reed was seen as apologising to the man from whom Scott is shown buying the lottery ticket and felt that it had to be made public so that the viewers and the dear fans get to know about the insights of the film.

Nowadays due to the ongoing Coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic, the celebrities are taking to their social media handles and conducting group meetings, sharing some secrets of their past movies and unknown facts.

This is because, currently all the shootings, film released have been pushed for a future date till things get back to normal. Peyton Reed had even announced that a third party to the Ant-Man series is surely on the cards and the production would commence soon.
