A young mother and her toddler baby disappeared on Tuesday
The Detroit Police Department announced Friday that the mother and her two-year-old have been missing since Tuesday.
Sources report that 2-year-old Carson Hayes may be in the company of biological mother Asia Sturgis, 25, who allegedly took the baby away without permission.
The father claims that the mother took away the toddler
The boy’s father reportedly said he drove his son to his mother at around 1:20 pm. Tuesday afternoon, at 20800 W. Chicago in Detroit. During the visit, Sturgis allegedly fled with Carson. His father told the police he couldn’t find his son.
Description of the woman
Sturgis is described as a 5’4 ” black woman and weighs around 155 lbs. She was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, white t-shirt, and red leggings. He has a light brown complexion, hazel eyes, and brown hair.
Police said Sturgis could drive a blue 2019 Nissan Altima with New Hampshire license plates 4576271.
The officers are still investigating the case. Officers are seeking help from the family and relatives.
