Boy, 7, Shot To Death While He Was Playing Outside

A 7-year-old boy died in Florida after he or one of the other two children he was playing with had a gun

According to reports from the authorities, police are looking in the case after the death of Bryson Plummer, 7, who was killed after a revolver blew up in Ft. Lauderdale house where he played with two other children, ages 5 to 11.

The authorities do still not confirm if the boy himself or another child has pulled the trigger. Furthermore, it is not yet clear how the children reached a gun.

The victim’s aunt informed the officers about the incidence

Sources received a 911 call from a woman who claimed to be the victim’s aunt on Thursday morning.

It was reported that the woman had fallen asleep during the shooting.

Several other incidences were recorded prior to this tragedy

Further documents obtained from the reports show that the authorities have been summoned 82 times in the past year and a half. While many of these calls were noise objection, many calls registered more severe incidents such as abuse of children and the elderly. Police also received two previous reports of a gun explosion at headquarters prior to the tragic incident on Thursday.

Neighbors showed their concern toward the kid

Neighbors told the officers that they had early concerns about the boy’s well-being, as he was reportedly spotted out alone at night on several occasions. Neighbors said they urged childcare services to investigate at home, although the report does not reveal whether anyone has made a formal complaint to social services.

Another neighbor said she was worried about something tragic for the boy, although he described him as a lucky boy who would have been politely asked for his dog.
