ITV’s period drama, Belgravia, based on a novel of the same name is set in the 19th century that became instantly popular with the viewers. The story revolves around two families, the Trenchard and the Brockenhurst, both are hiding a secret. The viewers kept guessing till the end whether or not Jack Bardoe’s character Charles Pope was illegitimate or not. Season 1 ended on a good note but left with a few questions. Fans are waiting for Season 2.
Will There Be A Season 2?
Julian Fellowes, the writer, and director of the show were asked about Season 2. He said
“I was spoiled because the novel is not very long, and I was given six hours of screen time. If it were a film, I would have only had two hours, so I would have needed to lose an enormous amount of the narrative. But here I could tell the whole story, which was a luxury.”
When Will Season 2 Air?
There is no official confirmation on whether there will be a second season or not. The Executive Producer of the show said that the show was a limited series. The novel story has been shown in the six-episode series.
But, Fellowes mentioned that the cast of the show was keen on having a second season.
If a Season 2 is in pipelines, then it will air mostly in the spring of 2021.
What To Expect In Season 2?
If Season 2 happens, then the viewers can expect to see more of Charles Pope’s story and how Oliver Trenchard and John Bellasis try to keep him away from claiming the fortune.
