Shang-Chi Director Explains Why He Joined MCU, Details Inside

MCU is about to start a new time following Avengers: Endgame and some fresh-faced celebrities are placed to take the core stage with the release of movies like Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

This would start an all-new time for Marvel Studios as star Simu Liu will be one of the new conductors in the MCU.

This will also be the first superhero movie from Destin Daniel Cretton, who is recently getting a lot of buzz for his film Just Mercy with Jamie Foxx, Michael B. Jordan, and Brie Larson.

Cretton, who has a lot of practice with Marvel talent already, lately spoke revealed why he determined to join the marvel cinematic universe with this story.

Cretton revealed that he had grown up without a superhero to look up to. He approached Spider-Man when he was a child, mostly had a mask hiding his face, and he could visualize himself under that mask.

‘I would love to give my son a superhero to look up to. I feel very privileged to be a part of telling that story,’ he said

Shang-Chi is an essential part of the future of Marvel, as it will explain new information that was only teased in the Iron Man films while also debuting a new hero of Chinese heritage who will have an impact on upcoming movies.

Feige stated while about Shang-Chi being a hazardous project that he thought every film that they did was a risk. They only wanted to make films that people appeared to think are risks.

According to a source, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is recently fixed to premiere in multiplexes next year on February 12.
