Well, well, well, as all the people who love the series called Mindhunter know that the third season of this show has put on an indefinite halt right now and no one knows when the work is goi g to get done on it. It is so sad to know that even actor Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, as well as Anna Torv, have been released from their contracts finding work till the point in time the creators have settled down for a third installment.
David Fincher, the man who has executively produced the whole series and the reason behind releasing the cast was because of his very busy schedule in this period that he will not be able to make a third season. All this while, without losing hope, we should remind ourselves of the fact that the series has not been canceled right now, and the installment is still on the table.

There was a Netflix report which was disclosed to TVLine that said that David is right now focused his first film for the streaming giant called Mank, and then he is scheduled to work on the second season of Love, Death, and Robots. They went on to say that David is sure to go to get the work done on Mindhunter sometime in the future, but right now, he felt that it was not fair to hold the actors from working somewhere else if they get the opportunity at the same time he was exploring new tasks of his own.
The tale of this show throws the entire spotlight on two agents who work in the FBI as well as a psychologist who also happens to work within the Behavioral Science Unit of the bureau. And when they are all together, they interview the serial killers just so they can get a better understanding of all their motivations and to hopefully solve all the cases that are going on right now.
When might the third season of Mindhunter come out for all the fans?
The second installment of Mindhunter was made up of eight episodes, and they all came out at the same time back in August of 2019 and the various media outlets think that if the production of this show starts right now, we might have the third season in the early half of 2024.
