Four family members were found dead Sunday in a home in Ohio and investigators suspect homicide-suicide
According to the sources, the couple and their twins were found dead in their Shaker Heights home after a relative applied for a social security check. Authorities have identified the victims as 57-year-old John Tobin; Regina Tobin, 58; and their 15-year-old twins Natalie Tobin and Graham Tobin.
The cause of death is yet to be disclosed
Although police have not yet commented on the cause of death, a medical examiner told that Regina and the children died from the alleged murders. No method of death has been specified for John Tobin, which is one of many indicators that suggest he could be found guilty of an alleged homicide-suicide.
According to the report, Tobin’s father Phil Tobin went to the police Sunday after receiving a disturbing email from his son, in which John Tobin advised his parents to contact the police.
The boy was suffering from depression
Phil Tobin told that his son, who until recently headed the development department, was depressed after losing his job at university hospitals, where he was previously vice president.
Phil Tobin also said his son was even more affected by the loss of his beloved dog.
While the grieving father and grandfather admitted that his son suffered from depression, he said it was difficult to understand the possibility of the depression becoming so severe that it could lead to a violent tragedy.
