The afterlife seems to be a common topic for media exploration, and it is the prerequisite for the new series of Amazon Prime: ‘Upload.’ The much-awaited Science-Fi romantic comedy parody show is set in the future where people who are about to die can be “uploaded” into a virtual afterlife of their choosing.
Over the past six years, the accomplished comedy writer has developed this brand new science fiction comedy with the idea that he can upload his consciousness to several hotels – the digital afterlife.

Plot Details:
This is set in a technologically advanced future, but not far down the road – when people are close to death, they can opt to be inserted into a virtual afterlife. The series follows a young web developer who comes to the hospital after an auto accident and has to determine his fate quickly.
After a short consultation with his shallow girlfriend, he chooses to be loaded into the lavish virtual afterlife of her family, Lakeview, the Horizen business.
When uploaded to Lakeview, Nathan meets Angel, the first charismatic concierge, but also a guide, who soon becomes his friend and trustworthy and helps him navigate this new digital life expansion.

Following a horrific accident and digital afterlife, the trailer begins at the hospital with Nathan (Amell), who has to choose between recovery and death, which allows him to be “uploaded” into an afterlife of his choosing. He wants the latter and ends up in his dream afterlife, located in the ritzy luxury community “Lakeside,” where he has purchased space from his girlfriend Ingrid (Allegra).
Nathan is pretty happy with this life, as we see in the video, and he has everything he wants right from a talking dog to the food of his choice and his capsule vehicles. He must have money to spend in-app to own it all. The trailer also explains his growing relationship with Nora (Andy), who is already in love with him.
