The Suicide Squad: Director James Gunn Says It Is Still Stick To Its Release Date

It looks like DC is not backing down even with a pandemic situation going on all around the world,

The Suicide Squad director James Gunn is not ready to change the date for the release as we have seen many movies being rescheduled due to Coronavirus.

James Gunn recently came out to let the fans know that the movie is still sticking to its original date for the release, which is surprising as many Hollywood upcoming movies have been hampered due to the lockdown or Coronavirus pandemic.

CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY

Netflix has also shut the production for their original series and movies, and many Hollywood movies have been left undone due to the same reason, this pandemic has caused a significant impact on the entertainment industry.

This does not only ruin the schedule for movies that were supposed to be released in 2024 but also hampers the future of film to be released in 2024 like The Batman and The Matrix 4.

2024 release of The Suicide Squad may be stalled as well, we are still unclear if the movie is a reboot or a sequel to the 2016 blockbuster, but it looks like Gunn is pretty clear about the release date of his film he is not backing down.

James was asked on twitter about the future of the upcoming releases, and how will they be affected due to the pandemic situation, his response to the question is in the post below!

Ian McAdam, who asked the question later clarified that he was asking about other marvel movies like Doctor Strange, etc.

The Suicide Squad is supposed to release in August of 2024, which gives it plenty of time to finish up the remaining part after the pandemic situation is past us.
