Warner Bros. confirmed the release date of the sequel film, and it is now slated to hit the theaters on 6th August 2024. While Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, and Joel Kinnaman and Jai Courtney as returning to the sequel film, a whole new team of new additions have also been confirmed as well. These new additions including some big names including John Cena, Taika Waititi, SNL member Pete Davidson, Nathan Fillion, and Idris Elba. It seems like the sequel movie is going to be a pretty star-studded affair. Fans are going to miss Will Smith, who could not rejoin due to scheduling issues.

The Film Is Slated To Release The Next Year!

While some fans assumed that Idris Elba might be replacing Will Smith, that is surely not the case as the actor is reportedly going to play a whole new character in the film. Fans are also wondering if Joker is also to return in the sequel film as we saw the clown prince rescuing his lady love in the last film. Gunn also confirmed that Peter Capaldi is going to have a rather big role rather than a cameo in the upcoming film. Fans are eagerly waiting for the antiheroes to unleash action this time!
