Mandalorian season 2: Release Date

John Favreau confirmed via an Instagram post that Season 2 would fall in the fall of 2024. The release date was set for October 2024, but the production has been halted due to the global coronavirus pandemic and the release has been delayed. Disney is trying to speed up the post-production and release season 2 early.

The first season 1 teaser came out in August 2019, so it’s possible that this year Mandalorian season 2 teaser will come at almost the same time this year. Coronavirus pandemic has also affected trailer production.

Mandalorian season 2: Plotline

The Mandalorian is all about Baby Yoda. Mando and his comrades defeated Gideon’s royal army and Mando brought out his TIE Fighter, Greef stayed behind to clear the city of Karga and re-establish the Bounty Hunter Guild. Mando promises to marry Baby Yoda in hopes that they can find young men.

Armour established that under his Mandalorian code, Baby Yoda essentially became the son of the Mandalorian. In Season 2, the couple would be searching the galaxy for Yoda’s homeworld. The season 1 finale reveals that Moff Gideon survived his TIE Fighter crash and has Darksaber, historically wiped out by Mandalorian leaders.
