Netflix has declared a 5th season of “The Last Kingdom”, which is based on the book series of Bernard Cornwell name The Saxon Stories.
The cast of the series shared a clip-on Instagram and confirming the news (check below). The announcement just arrives after a couple of months from the release of seasons on April 26. The upcoming season will give you 10 episodes similar to the previous seasons.
The series is produced by Carnival Films in association with NBCUniversal International Studios, the upcoming season will be created on Bernard’s The Warriors of the Storm and The Flame Bearer which is the ninth and tenth novels respectively.
The series will tell you about the events of Uhtred of Bebbanburg, a fighter born a Saxon but grown as a Dane between the 9th and 10th century England.
Accused of preparing King Edward’s first-conceived child Aethelstan as a warrior, Uhtred’s desire will have a much higher reason. In any case, to accomplish this fate, Uhtred should look down his most noteworthy foe and endure his most prominent misfortune.
