Amazon’s The Boys turned their superhero archetype on their head.
Based on the eponymous comic series by Garth Ennis and Derrick Robertson, the series is said to be about a vigilante group called “The Boys,” whose goal is to take down the nation’s best superheroes, who, for the most part, Besides, the Wanted International megacorporation has control and is generally corrupt. In a world where superheroes are essentially subject to the whims, promotions, and privileges of a major company, things get dark and messy.
Season 1 premiered in late July, but it doesn’t seem like we have to wait too long for season 2: Amazon announced that it had already renewed the series for a second season at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con. It was done. Production continues simultaneously: Executive producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg told Collider in August 2019 that they had already seen the first episode of season 2. Recently wrapped in The Boys Season 2, and according to an Instagram post by actor Karl Urban, we can expect it to hit the Amazon video in mid-2020. Expect a more definitive release date in the coming months.

Amazon released a brief teaser for Season 2 of The Boys in December at Comic-Con Experience in Brazil. Despite not being very high in the plot, it is very heavy for children, with a lot of blood, middle fingers, and severe violence.
