A camp instructor continuously harassed and molested his 8-year-old student
A Tennessee camp instructor is behind bars after police say he repeatedly assaulted a child for nearly two years.
The victim, an 8-year-old girl, told a friend last month that camp instructor Joshua Webb, 24, “touched her inappropriately several times for nearly two years.” The victim attended the summer camp where Webb worked. The authorities do not release the name of the field.
The instructor accepted his crime
According to the reports, Webb confessed to molesting the victim in the back of a bus during a trip to Goodlettsville.
When investigators questioned the child, she recounted three times Webb had attacked her. She also reportedly told the authorities that the man touched her “more than 20 times.”
Investigators then interrogated Webb, who allegedly admitted physically molesting the victim at her family’s home at least twice. The first incident occurred in November 2018, followed by another attack a week later.
Charges for the crime
On Monday evening, Webb was arrested and taken to Davidson County Prison. He remains behind bars for $ 1.85 million of bonds. He is faced with seven counts of child assault and an indicator of child physical abuse.
