Stranger Things eventually came back into our lives after almost two years. In October 2019, Eleven and the gang returned for season three of Netflix’s sci-fi smash hit to Hawkins, which was worth the wait.
If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s time to put in some serious time. Even if you’ve binged the whole last season like us, you’ll be looking for something that you can find out about upcoming series shows. Fortunately, the science-fiction smash will undoubtedly be a fourth season, so here is what we know about so far.
Will There Be Addition Of New Characters In Season 4?
A new fan hypothesis indicates that Jonathan’s father and Will Byers will return in the fourth season of Stranger Things. In Season 1 of the Netflix drama, Lonnie Byers was played by Ross Partridge in a total of four episodes.
At the end of season 3, Joyce agreed to withdraw Hawkins from her sons and Eleven. They packed their belongings and set off for a new home, but never announced their destination. Lonnie had been reported to live in Indianapolis, so it would be unlikely for Joyce to take the children to that area. With the Byers out in Hawkins, Lonnie might come back to town and get his old house back on sale. There may be a darker explanation for his return.
Release Date:
There is no release date for the next season, but considering the 20-month difference between the two and three of seasons, we can’t go back to Hawkins until 2024. Furthermore, development was suspended in season four because of the outbreak of coronavirus.
Plot Details:
Russian engagement in season 3 has been kept in place until the episodes have landed on Netflix, so don’t foresee any big reveal regarding the 4th season of Stranger Things for a while. Nonetheless, one of the most critical problems we have now is when the next season is scheduled.
The first three seasons were formed in both November 1983, October 1984 and July 1985, so that a trend would continue if Stranger Things Season 4 took place in 1986 the following year. Yet we would not be shocked if the series in 1986 completely skipped and just jumped back to 1987.
