Zombie Series is fun to watch, taking an instance of likes of The Walking Dead and so many brilliant shows filled with Zombies. However, Netflix didn’t have any zombie original hyped so far yet. But now Reality Z will be on Netflix to fill the void.
About Reality Z
Now when foreign dramas are at their peak Brazilian production firm Conspiração’s production will be adapting the British zombie series Dead Set into Reality Z. The thriller confirmed on 24th April during the Rio Creative Conference.
Release Date
Reality Z is just on the verge of its release as it is scheduled to release on June, 10th 2024 which is just around the corner.
Expected Plot
We don’t have much info about the plot but with the reference to Dead Set, the plot is pretty similar to it. The show’s five episodes exhibit a zombie apocalypse that holds members and producers of a reality show called Olimpo, The House of the Gods, during its elimination night. The studio becomes a sanctuary for those who seek aid in Rio de Janeiro, where chaos and hopelessness begin to rule.

Episodes
It is confirmed that the thriller will follow up with Five Episodes and each episode will comprise of 60 minutes. 5 Episodes in a season could potentially be signaling for a sequel of the show. So expect the sequel season in a very short time as the show will follow the same route just like Black Mirror.
Inspiration
Dead Set, the series which completely focuses upon zombie-apocalyptic spin on the reality series Big Brother, which was so popular in the UK at the time. Big Brother is a reality show where a group of people who are complete strangers lives in the Big Brother House for a specific period of time. For some progressive process, the public cast their votes eliminating their least favorite contestants.
Dead Set has exactly the same concept besides on the very first elimination night the zombie apocalypse starts. While the contestants are expecting the first elimination, zombies have fallen upon the fans and producers, eating them. Unaware of the ongoing turmoil outside, the participants have been given a safe shelter inside the Big Brother House.
