Writer-turned-actor John Cena will join the DC Extended Universe in the upcoming James Gun movie, The Suicide Squad. However, before landing in the role of Suicide Squad, John Cena was best known for his WWE career and his famous rivalry with Dwayne Johnson.
During an interview on The Tonight Show
Jimmy Fallon, John Cena reflects on his WWE feud with Dwayne Johnson and how the two resolve their differences. As John Cena explained, his rivalry with Dwayne Johnson ended after the famous WWE rematch.
Later, John Cena recalled the advice he received from his former rival when he was dying for a role in the comedy Trainwreck, when Dwayne Johnson said to him, “Just be yourself, man. That’s why he asked you the first time there.” I ask. ”
Dwayne Johnson has several projects
Including Jumanji: The Next Level, Jungle Cruise, and DC’s Black Adam. Meanwhile, John Cena will be making his DCEU debut when The Suicide Squad hits theaters in two years.
The first suicide squad followed a team of observers, who were recruited by the government for a dangerous black operations mission in exchange for a lesser punishment.
