Daredevil: Charlie Cox Revealed That He Rejected Other Work Because Of The Marvel Show

The drama Daredevil alum Charlie Cox who played lead character Matt Murdock on the Netflix Marvel show says he and his co-stars were so sure the series would be resumed for a fourth season that he actually declined other acting jobs that were offered to him.

Lately caught up with Daredevil alumnus Charlie Cox, who revealed he turned down jobs because he was under the accepting the fourth season would arrive at one point or another. I mean, we all thought we were going, Charlie Cox tells us of the possibilities of a fourth season.

Charlie Cox Announced That He Declined Some Work

Apparently, the cast of Daredevil had good reason to appropriate the show would be coming back. As Charlie Cox tells it, he actually met with Daredevil Season 3 showrunner Erik Oleson and former Marvel Television boss Jeph Loeb to discuss the on-screen future of Matt Murdock and company.

I had a brief discussion with Erik and Jeph about what was expected and that kind of sucks, cause I was really excited, you know, as we all were, the actor received. It was a real shock. I don’t know who’s to examine, just, to know, because sometimes, politics, stuff happens, I seemingly don’t to this day know what was going on behind the scenes.

Still, the fact that Charlie Cox turned down other offers in order to stay committed to Daredevil cannot be overstated. Show business, after all, is especially expansive, with the series Daredevil’s retirement being a testimonial to just how drastically one’s professional status can change from one day to the next.
