BoJack Horseman: Will We Have A Season 7?

BoJack Horseman, produced by Raphael Bob-Waksberg, is one of Netflix’s best original shows, mixing brilliant animation with funny gags along with a serious discussion of a variety of topics, including mental health and substance abuse.

Starring Will Arnett in the lead role has been an excellent voice cast and a long list of guest stars, ranging from the main series like Aaron Paul and Alison Brie to one-offs like Daniel Radcliffe. BoJack Horseman’s season 6 is already in fantastic shape, bringing him to the lowest point since season 5. The difference this time is that the episodes have been separated into two parts, and in October 2019, part 1 of season 6 landed on Netflix with part 2 and then on 31 January 2024.

Bojack Horseman Got Cancelled After Season 6

Sadly, there will be no BoJack Horseman season 7. Season 6, which will mark the end of the series. It is a big part of why BoJack Horseman 6 was split into two pieces to ensure that it receives the delivery it deserves.

Season 6, Episode 16, is, therefore, a planned final series for the case, which satisfactorily connects the main character storylines, even if it is just about to open enough to imply that if it were ever desired, there would be more. Still, there are again no plans for BoJack Horseman season 7 right now.

Cancellation Was Made Even Before Season 6 Was Released

Once it was revealed that season 6 of BoJack Horseman was about to end, some uncertainty initially emerged that Netflix canceled the show, with contradictory comments from different cast and crew members.

But later Raphael Bob-Waksberg announced that Netflix had canceled BoJack Horseman, but with ample notice that they could compose and animate an excellent conclusion to the show. The fact that BoJack has earned six seasons is remarkable and thus shows how much the streaming service has improved in recent years. Netflix cancels most shows these days in 2-3 seasons.

Are There Any Chances For Bojack Horseman To Return?

Once Bob-Waksberg announced the cancelation, he felt that the series should have lasted for a few years. He has changed plans for a true conclusion, but after Bojack Horseman’s series finale, there is still room for more. BoJack survives in the last episode after almost drenching in his shower, and while still serving a prison term, he is determined to make a success of his life. There is hope for his future, and Season 7 of BoJack Horseman will tell us what his life is with a new beginning.
