Lena Waithe’s twenties will return once again. The series is renewed for a 2nd season. Written by Wathe, the 1920s starred Gibbs as Hattie, a black queen who pursue a dream of becoming a screenwriter in L.A. by Christina Elmore (Insecure) and Gabrielle Graham (Posistor) Played with two of her best friends, Mary and Nia) Respectively.

BET President Scott Mills said: “The 1st season of the 1920s was directed by the amazing Jessica T. Gibbs, Christina Elmore, and Gabrielle Graham.” BET always focused on elevating and empowering black stories.
According to BET, ‘Twenties’ is a semi-autobiography that comes after “a queer black girl, Hattie, and her two best friends, Mary Aanho spends most of her day talking about ‘Ish’ and fulfilling her dreams Mia: “In fact, the show’s producer, Lina Waithe, wrote the story while she was in her twenties. He scoffed at his experiences when he first landed in Los Angeles.
Season 1 follows Hattie as she tries to face new challenges in a new city.
After losing his job, he ends up working for the famous writer and producer Ida Bee. The delivery comes to an end when Hutty is fired when she tries to get Nia to roll in cocoa butter. Season 2 is expected to pick up the story from here and follow Hattie and her friends as they face many other difficulties and have yet to shy away from what life has in store for them.
