HBO is joining the streaming service market. After Disney launched its streaming service, Disney+ last year in November, HBO is launching its streaming service, HBO Max, that will launch on May 27, 2024.

HBO Max is going to show a lot of previously aired shows and movies like Friends, The Big Bang Theory, Rick and Morty, Game Of Thrones, Gossip Girl, and many more. It will also launch a bunch of original content that will be available only on the streaming service. One such show is The Prince.
The Prince
The Prince is based on royal life. The series is an animated, comedic satire. The show is written and produced by Gary Janetti. Janetti gained fame for his Instagram posts. He posted many irrelevant commentaries on the royal family through the imagination of Prince George, the future monarch, and the six-year-old son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge. HBO has roped Gary Janetti to make a series on the lines of his posts.
Storyline
The series will be all things royal and celebrity through the eyes of a sassy young Prince George. Janetti’s George mocks his family regularly. Through the show, his family members will join him in the mocking.
The Cast
The series will be voiced by many actors. Gary Janetti will be the voice of Prince George. Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom will give voice to Prince Harry’s character. the cast includes Condola Rashad as Meghan Markle, Lucy Punch as Kate Middleton, Iwan Rheon as Prince William, Tom Hollander as both Prince Philip and Prince Charles, and Frances De La Tour as Queen Elizabeth. Alan Cumming will be the voice of a fictional character Owen, who is Prince George’s butler.
HBO is yet to announce the launch date of the series.
