Well, well, well, not a long time ago we have Mayim Bialik from The Big Bang Theory who has gone on to share a powerful message for the current month, that is, the Suicide Prevention Month. In the message, she encourages people to speak up and break the stigma.
The actress used to enact the character of Amy Farrah Fowler on the successful sitcom by CBS. She has recently uploaded a video clip that runs for approximately 120 seconds. This has been added to her YouTube channel. In that clip, we all can see her revealing how she has been touched by suicide very, very directly as well as closely.
Mayim says people should be generous enough to people who might be struggling!
Mayim, in the video, advised that there is nothing extra necessary rather than speaking up about it. She also says that importance should lie on the stigma that has been created around it and it is and it is actually kind of onerous to really know what to say.
She says the stigma is really unkind and people should evolve keeping that in mind. Mayim also stresses that everybody who is feeling depressed needs better access to help so that it is available to them. This is what it is and she says she is speechless after it.
Mayim says this video was in the honor of people who she has misplaced in her life!
As a conclusion for the video, Mayim asked everyone to take care of themselves especially when the quarantine months are going on. It is so obvious that during quarantine we can not get much help and Mayin says that the people who are struggling might be struggling even more.
She also added how she is going to keep on talking about suicide in order to honor the members of her family she has misplaced in the course of her life.
