Jon Landau, the man who served as the producer of Avatar, has disclosed the fact that James Cameron has already successfully shot three scenes from the second Avatar film, which are created along with the visual effects.

This event has happened just this week, with all the crew members present on board with him. The whole members of Avatar are present in New Zealand right now, trying to film the new installment with all the safety procedures as possible. It is so proud that New Zealand is one of the few countries in the entire world that have all managed to virtually kill off the spread of Corona Virus and thus has made it pretty safe to resume the process of filming without worrying too much about getting infected with the communicable virus.

Avatar 2 will not release until December of 2024, and here is the whole reason behind this potential delay!

It is so unfortunate to know that Avatar 2 has still forced to face iff another wave if delay because of the halt that has been caused by the pandemic created by the fatal Corona Virus. This factor totally implies that Avatar 2 is now shifted further back and is going to release in December of 2024.

This particular delay has also forced away from the subsequent sequels of Avatar further away and this means that the fifth film of Avatar is probably going to release exactly after two decades of its parent film.
