And last night British co-author of the book Omid Scobie turned to Twitter to share his surprise at the long-awaited book that he led on the first day of its pre-launch launch. Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and The Making of a Modern Royal Family will launch online worldwide on August 11, with a print copy on sale from August 20. The Amazon biography promises to present an ‘honest, close and disarming portrait’ of Prince Harry, confident, influential and advanced, 35, and Meghan Markle, 38.
While it’s now off the 24-hour bestseller list, it’s already climbed to number two on Amazon’s ‘Biography of Royalty’ bestseller list – the current number one for Kensington Behind the Palace: An intimate memory of Tom Quinn from Queen Mary to Meghan Markle.
Last month, the sources on Sunday reported that the Duke and Duchess collaborated with Omid Scobee and Catherine Durand on a new book about their lives. Publisher of Harper Collins, owner of Day Street Books, released a brief description of Meghan and Prince Harry’s collaboration with two journalists.
