Ares, the Dutch show, was produced exclusively for Netflix and used in several films recently, such as Midsommar and Suspiria, as a way of exposing famous dystopian secret society. Elements in this series are also reminiscent of Hannibal. Ares follows the story of Rosa, a student who is admitted to a secret Holland society and quickly learns that this elite club has a supernatural dimension.
During its eight half-hour episodes, Ares has brought to the end of an awful end the crime, mystery, and suspense that horror fans love with the monster and Rosa of the show. Ares is similarly organized to The Mandalorian in that it’s like a long film.
The end of season 1 is a typical horror film. A surprising turn of events comes to the very end and might, whether there is an interest in a sequel, either by the end of the story or an outstanding cliffhanger.

On 17 January 2024, the first season of Ares was published in typical Netflix fashion, with all eight episodes immediately available. So far, a release date for Ares season 2 is not available.
Netflix has a very fast history of hit renewal. The Witcher, also recently released, has already scheduled season 2 for 2024. If the number of viewers is high enough, plan to hear sooner rather than later.

Plot Details:
For the Ares season 2 story, there are no official information, but the end of the first season reveals where the series might be set. It has been discovered by the conclusion that the secret society, Ares, has been formed to control a supernatural force called Beal. Beal, the viewers discover, is a black tar-like material, the actual expression of remorse expelled by Ares members for millennia.
It’s pure human bad. Finally, Rosa leaps into Beal and takes it away from the black tub, which is reborn as supernatural. It reveals that she has tar-black hair. A potential hypothesis from season 2 is that the new force of Rosa will be further explored.
