Monsters At Work: What We Know So Far About The Upcoming Disney Animated Series

Here’s everything we know about the Disney+ series, Monsters at Work!

The next series will be a follow-up to the beloved 2001 Pixar movie Monsters, Inc., which introduced the world to an adorable blue ogre and his one-eyed little green friend.

The director of the movie Pete Docter, James P. “Sulley” focuses on Sullivan and Mike Wazowski, who work at a power factory in the city of Monstrópolis that scares children and cuts off the electricity. The demons were led to believe that the children were highly toxic and dangerous, but the two meet a young girl named Boo, their perceptions change immediately. As Sulley and Mike try to get the girl back to where she lives, they discover the truth about the Monsters, Inc. factory, which changes her future forever.

John Goodman and Billy Crystal have repeated their roles as James P. Sullivan and Mike Wazowski. You can meet Goodman from Roseanne, The Big Lebowski, or just Gemstones. Meanwhile, Crystal is famous for her roles in Jab Harry Met Sally, Analyze This, and City Slickers.

John Goodman and Billy Crystal are re-voicing the demonic dynamic duo, Sule, and Mike, respectively. Jennifer Tilly returns to play the role of Celia, Mike’s one-eyed girlfriend with snake hair. Additionally, Bob Peterson emphasized the voice of CDA leader Roz, who also served as secretary in the original film. Peterson will also voice Roz’s twin sister, Roze. Smiley and Needleman will return to the series, but Stephen Stanton is handling the roles of the late Dan Gerson. Longtime Pixar vet, John Ratzenberger is bringing back Yeti, the white demon who previously went into exile in the Himalayas and will also be the voice behind a new character named Bernard.

Superstore star Ben Feldman is voicing the character of Tyler Tuskmon, and the mechanic’s mother Millie will be played by Aisha Tyler.

Several characters will also be featured in relation to Tyler, including his best friend Val Little (Kelly Marie Tran) and his boss, Fritz (Henry Winkler). The characters in the play are Duncan (Lucas Neff) and a plumber named Cutter (Alana Labak) gathering the new monsters.
