Kane Dane
Looney Tunes, the much loved animated cartoon series is ready for a comeback. HBO Max, the streaming service of HBO that is launching on 27th May 2024, is bringing the cartoon back to the screens.
What We Know So Far
Season 1 of Pete Browngardt’s Looney Tunes will feature 80 episodes of 11-minute shorts. It will be one of the few original shows available on HBO Max. The Warner Bros. show recently launched its trailer. In the trailer, many characters were shown that will appear on the show.
Characters That Are Back
Bugs Bunny
Voiced by Eric Bauza, Bugs Bunny, the main character will be seen in many episodes. In this new series, bugs bunny retains his personality but will be shown wearing yellow gloves.
Daffy Duff
Bugs Bunny’s frienemy will be seen in his original character. Bugs and Daffy often travel together on an adventure, but Daffy always ends up putting Bugs in danger, either to protect himself or for his greed.
Sylvester and Tweety Bird
Sylvester, the cat will now don yellow eyes instead of white. He will be back running after Tweety, the bird trying to catch her and be outwitted.
Wile E. Coyote & Roadrunner
Wile E. Coyote & Roadrunner are also returning. They will be seen chasing each other like cat and mouse.
Porky Pig
Porky Pig will appear along with Daffy Duck in at least two shorts. He will have his trademark stutter.
Yosemite Sam And Elmer Fudd
Looney Tunes antagonists will be back to trouble Bugs Bunny.
Other Characters
Marvin The Martian, Taz, Foghorn Leghorn, Granny, and many other characters will part of the Looney Tunes. The presence of two biggest characters Pepé Le Pew and Speedy Gonzalez is yet to be confirmed.
