It’s been more than three years since the sequel released, so now what’s the plan for a potential third season.
However, the plot already signaled for the possible third season, but we don’t have much information regarding the third season.
Konosuba Season 3 Renewal Status
It’s June, and there is no official confirmation yet, and we are not expecting it soon as the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak could be substantial upon the makers. So when can we finally have something for the third season, fans are demanding it, and it is obviously testing their patience when there is no such update.

However, release dates and such thing only comes into consideration when there is an official announcement for the green light of the show. So we can’t predict an expected release date until there is any news regarding the official announcement made public. But for a wild guess, we can predict that the show will likely come in the month of June next fall.
KonoSuba The Legend of Crimson
When there was nothing new on the show, Last year, Konosuba The Legend of Crimson comforts its fans with the sudden release. It is a film based on the popular show and based upon the fifth volume of the KonoSuba series.
The whole cast and staff got reprised from the TV show, and it clearly shows that it got released to ease down the speculations of the next season. Smart move by the makers, but it doesn’t change the fact that a third season is still much awaited for the fans.
Producers and other crew members already signaled for the potential third season, and they claimed that fans would witness season 3 soon. Due to the popularity of the previous seasons, there will be the third season for sure, and after the movie release, it’s hard to delay the project.
So we will see what producers have in their minds, will the third season discharge soon, or there will be more delay.
