Get down to business, gas bosses: It looks like The Grand Tour, the Amazon car-based reality show hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond, will be back in another lap.
With the launch of the fourth season on Friday, December 13, 2019, it is clear that the series has undergone some major changes.
Although Amazon has not officially announced anything about the future of the show, some team members have posted messages on Instagram confirming that the Grand Tour will not be closing anytime soon.

Will the Grand Tour have another season?
Yes! At least, according to Andy Willman, the former Top Gear producer who now works on The Grand Tour. In July Wilman posted this on Instagram:
Given that only half a year has elapsed since the date of publication, it appears that there is still another year and a half of filming work left, which means fans will be following one or two more seasons of the Grand Tour. You can expect to do it!
Producer Andy Willman also said he likes to spin-off The Grand Tour, so we’ll keep you posted on any news.
However, Season 4 is still launching, with more specials announced on The Grand Tour’s official Twitter account:
What happened in season 4 of the Grand Tour?
The fourth season of the Grand Tour saw some major changes to the format, separating the show from the traditional Top Gear-style live audience, with a greater focus on adventure and exploration.
This means that they have removed the popular ‘Tent Studio’. As Clarkson told the audience at the end of season 3: “Although the tent is gone, The Grand Tour is underway.”
Season 4 sees the gang travel to many influential places, including Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore. Top Gear fans will remember Clarkson’s previous trip to Southeast Asia, where it sparked controversy in Burma.
In The Grand Tour Season 5 where the team is going?
No information has been released on where the Grand Tour gang will be coming from, though he would like to follow Clarkson et al on social media for occasional filming updates.
However, given last season’s focus on Asia, it would be reasonable to assume that Season 5 would take the team elsewhere, perhaps a continent closer to home.
In The Grand Tour Season 5 who is going to seem?
Clarkson will inevitably return. The former Top Gear presenter can also be seen as the current presenter of the ITV game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? He previously told sources that “I never run away from ideas.”
“Someone asked me, before this series, what you could do with a car that you haven’t done yet. He said that his head is filled with ideas for five years.
Hammond and May are also sure to be seen by Clarkson, improving collaboration from the earliest days of Top Gear.
