An American sitcom ‘Girlfriend’ follows the lives of 4 women: Tony, Maya, Lynn, and Joan. We investigate their ups and downs and how they trust each other in tough times. There are many movies and shows based on ‘Buddy’ where friendship is nurtured as people go on adventures, discover themselves, and realize the depth of the bond they share.

Unfortunately, many of these films have not been made and highlight the relationship between women, at least not until recently. The friends are seen again together in season seven as they try to rebuild houses after Hurricane Katrina. There are many remarkable moments from Maya’s pregnancy to Joan’s proposal that distinguish this season. The season of austerity reminds us once again how admirable the friendship between the central characters is.
