Victims identified in the murder-suicide case
Indiana authorities have identified four family members who were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide this weekend.
Citing police sources, sources report that Jeffrey Mumper a 61-year-old, wife Greta Mumper, 54, their daughter Emma Mumper 26-year-old and their son Jacob 18-year-old were found deceased at their Bloomington home on Sunday.
Investigators are waiting for the autopsy reports
Investigators reportedly believe Jeffrey Mumper shot his family members and then shot himself to death, although the coroner has not yet released the autopsy results.
Jeffrey was suffering from cancer
According to the reports, Jeffrey Mumper had previously been treated for prostate cancer but was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Authorities have not yet commented on the motive.
Jacob Mumper is said to have been a star swimmer at Bloomington High School, and his coach told the source he would break school records in his senior year.
Emma Mumper was a graduate student at Stony Brook University in New York City.
