Hamako was recently crowned with a Guinness World Record as the World’s Oldest Gaming YouTuber.
She began her gaming journey 39 years ago after getting inspired by kids around her playing video games.

It looked so great, and I thought it’s not good if only children did it. I thought life would be more fun if I knew how to play it. So I began playing, at first while no one was watching.
Her Favorite Game
Hamako’s favorite one is Grand Theft Auto 5. She loves it playing because, to her, the graphics are remarkable and that it feels like a film.
She said It’s like if I’m the only one experiencing it. It’s like seeing a film. I like it the best because it has age limitations, so children can’t play it!”
Disappointed With Failures
Hamako also said, Although it’s enjoyable playing when you fail, it’s tough. But I often fail. To finish a game smoothly to the end, it feels good. But when I fail, I feel down.
Hamako Set Of Consoles
Hamako’s gaming console was a Cassette Vision, which was launched in July 1981, which used cartridges to play games. She also retained all the games she enjoyed over the years.
Hamako plays and records her games on PlayStation 4.

Hamako took to her YouTube channel to report her world record, and to thank all her subscribers for getting her to where she is now.
She finished her interview with Guinness World Records by saying, After living for this long, I feel more than ever that playing games for this long was the right choice. I am truly enjoying my life.
