What is the movie 365 Days about?

The film has been criticized by Welsh singer Duffy, who wrote an open letter to Netflix, criticizing the service for the “brutal reality of sex trafficking, kidnapping, and rape” in the film. The Polish erotic thriller, Laura Beal (Anna Maria Sekkula), follows as a luxury hotel sales executive who is kidnapped by Sicilian mafia leader Massimo Torricoli (Michel Morone).

Massimo explains to Laura that he has twelve months to fall in love, promising her a existence of luxury. The two enter into a relationship loaded with intimacy when Laura begins to play and play with Massimo. But the film ends in great suspense, as Laura disappears while driving through the tunnel, possibly kidnapped by a rival mob member to exact revenge on the mob. The production was reportedly scheduled to begin in August.
