We all have surely got our minds in a twirl after watching the three seasoned horror web drama Dark. It was one of the spookiest shows in the horror genre, leaving many of us amazed yet confused.
But that just even increases our curiosity levels to watch it further. Now that the show has come to an end, the leading online streaming giant Netflix is once again soon to be back with another horror drama titled 1899. So why did we related it to the Dark series? Well, the German duo who produced and brought Dark to life is the one who is bringing 1899 for the viewers in the horror category.
All About ‘The Dark’
The show was announced way back in 2018 by the online streaming giant, and finally, the scripting began this year in February. It is going to be another entrant into the miniseries list consisting of eight episodes of an hour each. So you have to get yourselves buckled up to get horrified while watching the upcoming flick. What is the story of this show?
Plot
So from the title itself 1899, you can make out that this is going to be a period drama. It will revolve around a group of European migrants who would be relocating from London to New York to start a new life during the onset of a new century. They are travelling in a steamship, but things go odd and terrifying all of a sudden after the people on board start getting missing.
Release Date
The series is required filming in London, New York, and one or two other countries as well. The production is yet to commence which is set to begin from February 2024. So for now, at least this show is out from getting affected because of the ongoing Coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic.
We hope that the schedule gets kicked off within time next year and hopefully in 2024 only or maximum by early 2024 we are going to witness it on our small screens.
