The 100 Season 7 is almost upon us, fans and supporters are still trying to process the craziness of Season 6. Not every film manages to kill off two major characters, possibly discover the alien technology, and introduce literal body-snatchers all in one year.
Season seven will have 16 episodes and will hit The CW on Wednesday, May 20 in the US. The show airs on E4 in the UK but doesn’t have a premiere date. Season six-hit The CW in the US in April 2019, with UK viewers having to wait until September 2019.
The 100 is based on Kass Morgan’s series of post-apocalyptic Young Adult novels, but it’s attached so much to the mythology across its six seasons that it’s practically an original. Rothenberg confirmed to TVLine that season seven will focus on The Anomaly as expect, given the adult Hope twist.
The fact that Hope is now in her early twenties when three days ago she was a germ, does begin to assume some things about the Anomaly and about where we’re going. Rothenberg also told TV Guide that it’s a safe bet that we’ll see Sheidheda again and that there won’t be any time travel, the story picks up straight after the season fix finale.
