Messiah Season 2: Has Netflix Renewed It For Another Controversial Season?

Messiah season premiered on Netflix on 1 January 2024. Michael Petroni created the show. Season 1 of the show consists of 10 episodes. There are many questions among fans about the renewal of the show, cast, and other things. Here’s everything we know about season 2 of the show:

Is The Show Renewed For A Second Season?

There is no official announcement about the renewal or the cancellation of the show yet.

The streaming giant generally declares the future of its shows within a few months of airing, so it is not clear as of now whether there will be another season of the series.

If season 2 of the show is to be confirmed, then by looking at the production schedule for season one, season 2 of the show is more likely to air at some point in 2024, possibly a summer or autumn date. If there is any update about the show, we will be happy to post that for you.

Cast Of Season 2

We assume most of the cast members of season 1 of the show to reprise their role in season 2 of the show. The returning cast includes Michelle Monaghan as Eva Geller, Mehdi Dehbi as Al-Masih, Tomer Sisley as Aviram Dahan, and John Ortiz as Felix Iguero.

Expected Storyline Of Season 2

The first season of the show revolves around Al-Masih, who claims to be the second coming of Jesus Christ. He acts the hearts of people and racks up popularity drastically, which made many suspect about him being really what he claims to be!

Al-Masih also was known by the name as Payam Golshiri was investigated by Eva Geller, a CIA agent, to discover if he is Jesus Christ or a conman.

It is, however, not sure if he is good or bad because there have been situations where he sometimes helps up others or done evil to them too. But this is convinced that he is in possession of supernatural powers.

There is some link between Oscar Wallace -who is a cyber-terrorist, College professor of Williams, and the honest girl Rebecca- who tends to deliver his message.

So we can assume the story to uncover in season 2 to dig more into the life of Al-Masih and to find his reality.
