What can we expect from Season 3 of Castle Rock? What are the recent updates? Here’s everything we know about the cast, release date, and plot of Castle Rock Season 3.
Castle Rock Season 3: Release Date
Castle Rock Season 3 has not been renewed. Hulu has not made any decisions about the renewal of the series for the third season. However, this does not mean that it will not happen. The first season premiered in late July 2018, while the second aired in late October 2019. While it would be at least easy to say that Castle Rock season 3 premiered in the second half of the year, it would not be too surprising if it tried to keep its release a few days before Halloween. Of course, since there are no green lights to speak of, the premiere date may be extended to 2021.
Castle Rock Season 3: Plotline
The anthological nature of the show makes the story difficult to guess for Castle Rock season 3. King has a huge library of horror stories under his belt that only asks for a film or television adaptation. With the fact that the show’s runners aren’t afraid to merge pieces of writers’ stories, and no one knows what will happen to the audience when Castle Rock season 3 rolls around.
You can see that the cast and characters of Castle Rock will return for season 3, but even after season 2 ends, we will likely see the return of Bill Skarsgard as The Kid. Her character has been a link between the first and second seasons, and this is one of the reasons Castle Rock can advance to season 3. And while some would complain that Lizzie Caplan was reprising her role as Annie Wilkes, the character received a decent following. Later sending him to whoever would demonize him in Misery.
