THE STORY UNTIL NOW
Titans Season 3 will pick up where the previous season left off, with a new team forming from friends and former foes until the guidance of Dick Grayson, who has just taken on his new Nightwing persona. The series will also continue to expand its coverage of the DC Universe by incorporating Barbara Gordon. Director and cinematographer Boris Mojsovski confirmed the character would appear, though it remains to be seen whether she will take on the familiar Oracle mantle or appear as Batgirl.
Additionally, a March casting call indicates a new character with a difficult background and a knack for detective work. This had led fans to speculate that the series is casting Danny Chase, aka Phantasm, a teenage comics titan with a genius IQ and telekinetic abilities. When it comes to the current Titans, star Brendon Thwaites said that Dick will be getting upgrades to his new Nightwing suit for the new season.
FILMING
Although season 3 of Titans was announced in November 2019, filming has yet to begin. Production is currently on hold due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, further hampered by the fact that many of the actors live outside of the United States. Despite the delays, Thwaites has stated that the show’s writers are working diligently on the next outing.
