A man and a lady are in prison in Bartow County, Georgia, after the lady’s granddaughter shot and executed herself while playing with a stacked weapon.
11 Alive said Kimberly Anne Roberts, 47, was accused of a probation infringement, and James Phillip Lillie, 50, was accused of ownership of a gun by an indicted criminal, however, the sheriff’s office said both will deal with extra indictments.
Major Jonathan Rogers said
The shooting occurred at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday at a campground in-country Bartow County, as per the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Representatives said individuals at the campground removed the young lady and were met by the EMS workforce, who took her to an emergency clinic. The young lady, whose name and age have not been discharged, was articulated dead there.
Investigators said
The girl had been playing with the gun at the campground.
Lillie has no known relationship with the young lady.
